Subject rational exploitation of natural water resources in the national journalism has a deep social meaning in the context of globalization.
In the new publication, “Environmental issues in the work of the Kazakh writers at the turn of the XX – XXI centuries”, PhD, assistant professor аl-Farabi Kazakh National University A.A.Kurmanbaevа made the critical analysis of the views of Kazakh writers, scholars and journalists about the drama of the Aral Sea.
The author put methodologically important issue of national identity, for example, the analysis of the causes and ways to address ecological disaster.
A.A.Kurmanbaevа relies on such sources as: the novel “The last duty” Abdizhamil Nurpeisov and the book “Қaratereң valsі” Bauyrzhan Omaruly, poetry Zeinolla Shukirov and Qadir Mirza Ali, polemical statements in defense of the Aral writer-academician Gabit Musrepov and mathematician academician Askar Zhumagalieva, others authoritative opinion.
A new interpretation of the artistic and scientific texts once again reminds fellow citizens of the relevance of environmental journalism in the region of Central Asia.
Eco journalism of the Central Asian region is relatively young. Its development is providing significant support to UNESCO. Thus, in the bulletin “Network of Environmental Journalists of Central Asia” draws attention to the problems of development of the genre of the regional media.
The new generation of RK has to realize that the media are the main source of environmental information for most citizens.
